Chris gave me the idea to rotate my motorway images to make it look quite abstract and they definitely look different and quite unusual. I think it’s definitely a step up from the previous images as I knew they were a predictable idea and I did want to recreate some different. Even though I do really like some of the original images this is a different approach to the idea.
I think if I was going to do this project differently I would have focused more on the people side instead of traffic, because I love the effect that people can create within slow shutter speeds. But even so I like the images that I’ve produced because they’ve different to what I would usually produce. I made them all square and added a white border to make them look finished and complete.
